Nunzio GUGLIELMINO
Vice-Governor
Born in 1946 - Italian citizen
After studying Law and Economics in Rome and attending specialistion courses abroard, in particular at the F.M.I., Mr. Guglielmino started out his career in various Ministries and quickly specialised in the field of international finance.
From 1984 to1993, he was Advisor for economic and monetary affairs with the Permanent Italian Delegation to the European Union in Brussels and he participated in drawing up the Treaty of Maastricht .
As Advisor to the Ministry of the Treasury in Rome since 1993 he has participated in all the major international financial commissions. Before his appointment to the Council of Europe Development Bank he was Director-General at the Treasury Department and a member of the board of various companies responsible for the administration of public funds and of the EIB.
First elected Vice-Governor on 17 December 1999, Mr. Guglielmino was re-elected on 10 December 2004, and on 27 November 2009.
