Alumnus of the Ecole Nationale d'Administration (ENA), Alumnus of the Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC), Master in Litterature, Mr. Raphaël Alomar began his career as Secretary General of the Etablissement Broutin, a position which he held from 1966 to 1969.
In 1969 Mr. Raphaël Alomar became Director of Department, setting up and organising the Departement of large French and foreign corporations of the Société Générale.
From 1986 to 1993, Mr. Raphaël Alomar was Assistant General Manager of the Compagnie de Navigation Mixte, then one of the main French financial groups, holding a controlling stake in banks and insurance companies.
First elected Governor on 17 December 1993, Mr. Raphaël Alomar was re-elected on 18 June 1996, on 27 February 2001 and on 15 September 2005.
From 1974 to 1982, Mr. R. Raphaël Alomar was a Professor of Corporate Financial Management at the Ecole Nationale d'Administration. He is the author of a book entitled "Financement du développement de l'entreprise" (1982).
From 1987 to 1996, he was President of the Alumni Association of the Ecole Nationale d'Administration (ENA) and President of the confederation which unites the ENA Alumni Association of France and 30 foreign countries throughout the world.
